Famous Brazilian television star Luana Andrade underwent surgery to have fat removed from her knees. The 29-year-old celebrity lost her life due to complications that arose during the procedure.
Luana Andrade, who gained great fame in Brazil as an influencer and reality show star, had gone under the knife to have fat removed from her knees.
It was reported that the 29-year-old celebrity, who underwent surgery at the Sao Luiz Hospital in Sao Paulo earlier this week, experienced difficulty breathing and suffered a heart attack during the operation.
In a statement released by the hospital, it was noted that the surgery was immediately halted after Andrade suffered the cardiac event, but the young woman lost her life due to a pulmonary embolism.
The official cause of death for the young star was recorded as 'pulmonary embolism'.
