Müjde Ar receives 'Lifetime Achievement Award'
Legendary Turkish cinema actress Müjde Ar was presented with a 'Lifetime Achievement Award' in Munich, Germany, in honor of her 50th year in the arts.

At the 35th Munich Turkish Film Days held in Munich, master actress Müjde Ar was presented with a 'Lifetime Achievement Award'.
In her speech after receiving the award, Ar said, "I have dedicated my whole life to supporting women. I have added their spirit to my own; if I had another 50 years, I would still strive for their freedom. I am an indomitable warrior for freedom."
The 1983 film 'Şalvar Davası' (The Trousers Case), directed by Kartal Tibet and starring Müjde Ar alongside Şener Şen, was restored and screened at the Munich Turkish Film Days.
The event, which is being held for the 35th time this year between April 17-21, will last for 5 days.
