BACKGROUND OF THE CASE
Actor Ozan Güven's former girlfriend, Deniz Bulutsuz, had filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office, alleging that Güven had subjected her to violence. In the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Güven, a prison sentence ranging from 3 years and 9 months to 13 years and 6 months was requested for the crimes of 'insult,' 'intentional injury,' and 'deprivation of liberty.'
The file in which Ozan Güven also filed a complaint against Deniz Bulutsuz was sent to the conciliation bureau, but the parties did not agree to a settlement. Upon Güven's complaint, a prison sentence of 4 months to 1 year was requested for Deniz Bulutsuz for the crime of 'simple injury.'
