After watching the footage, Esin Çepni expressed her shock with the following words:
"I have always tried to stand strong; even if my words were harsh, my heart was bleeding. Today I realized that one should fear those who cry on the outside. Those you think are compassionate and decent are the ones who actually get things done. Tonight, boiling water was poured over my head. I saw the reason with my own eyes. I want you to see it too!"
