Sabanur Kıraç Balbal responds to husband Serkan Balbal's drug and alcohol allegations: 'He is slandering me'
Serkan Balbal, known for his role as 'Tolga' in the TV series Çocuklar Duymasın, had filed for divorce from his wife of 8 years, author Sabanur Kıraç Balbal, alleging that she was addicted to drugs and alcohol. Sabanur Kıraç Balbal stated, "The reports reflected in the press consist of slanders and delusions put forward by my husband to tarnish my name. I am in the process of divorce because I learned that I was being cheated on."

Actor Serkan Balbal had filed for divorce from his wife of 8 years, author Sabanur Kıraç Balbal, alleging that she was addicted to drugs and alcohol.
According to the lawsuit filed at the Istanbul Family Court, Sabanur Kıraç Balbal continued to use the substances in question at home despite her husband Serkan Balbal's warnings and did not show sufficient care for their child's upbringing.
'HE HAS MADE THIS WORLD A HELL'
Serkan Balbal's lawyer, Selcen Akar, included the following statements in the petition:
“The defendant spouse has made this world a hell for my client. The defendant, who changed the locks on the house, did not let my client in. Considering the best interests of the child, it is not appropriate for the child to remain with a drug-addicted mother.
Due to her faulty behavior, the defendant has both left my client without a family and caused him to be psychologically worn down. We are requesting 400 thousand liras in compensation and custody of the child. We also request a protection order to prevent the defendant from approaching the child and my client.”
Following this petition, the first statement came from Sabanur Kıraç Balbal.

Sabanur Kıraç Balbal stated, "I am in the process of divorce because I learned that I was being cheated on. The reports reflected in the press consist of slanders and delusions put forward by my husband to tarnish my name. He thinks he can tear our son away from me. For now, the legal process is ongoing. I will seek all my rights through the judiciary.”
