Serkan Balbal, known for his role in 'Çocuklar Duymasın': 'My wife is addicted to drugs and alcohol'
Serkan Balbal, known for his role as 'Tolga' in the TV series 'Çocuklar Duymasın', has filed for divorce from his wife of 8 years, author Sabanur Kıraç Balbal, alleging that she is addicted to drugs and alcohol.
According to the lawsuit filed at the Istanbul Family Court, Sabanur Kıraç Balbal continued to use the substances in question at home despite her husband's warnings and did not show sufficient care for their child.
'SHE HAS MADE THIS WORLD A HELL'
Serkan Balbal's lawyer, Selcen Akar, included the following statements in the petition:
“The defendant spouse has made this world a hell for my client. The defendant changed the locks on the house and did not let my client in. Considering the best interests of the child, it is not appropriate for the child to remain with a mother who is a drug addict.
Due to her faulty behavior, the defendant has both left my client without a family and caused him psychological distress. We are requesting 400 thousand lira in compensation and custody of the child. We also request a protection order to prevent the defendant from approaching the child and my client.” (Hürriyet)
