Following the Al-Aqsa Flood operation launched by Hamas against Israel on the morning of October 7, the conflict in the region is intensifying with each passing day. On the 14th day of the clashes, the number of Palestinians who have lost their lives has exceeded 3,000, while the number of Israelis who have died has surpassed 1,400.
Reporting on the latest developments from the conflict zone, CNN Türk Intelligence Chief Fulya Öztürk's behavior during the rocket attack became a trending topic on social media.
Öztürk's demeanor while reporting on the events was compared to that of NTV reporter Osman Terkan, who was present at the scene.
Some social media users accused Öztürk of 'putting on a show.' expressed her reaction with these words. On the other hand, some users stated that Öztürk was afraid and that this was normal.
'YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!'
Reading the comments that appeared on social media, Fulya Öztürk gave a harsh response to those who criticized her.
Öztürk said, "How despicable are you? I was not on air when the rocket was fired. When I said 'see me,' I was trying to get the director's attention. As soon as I realized I was on air, I calmly broadcast for an hour. You take that footage and create a perception as if I acted that way while on air."
Yet, the moment I went on air, I was extremely calm. This is my umpteenth assignment in a difficult region! Who are you? I leave you to God. You cannot defeat me. My path always leads to better places. Don't you notice?" she stated.
