ENKA Sanat is focusing on contemporary texts penned by productive, young, local, and international writers from our country's theater stages in the new season starting on February 12.
ENKA Sanat is preparing to present a selection of performances that set the agenda in the field of performing arts. The selection, which focuses on contemporary texts written by productive, young, local, and international writers of the recent period, focuses on personal stories as well as the dynamics and social issues of the era we live in.
Performances that stand out with striking acting, creative music, lighting, and stage designs, and are woven with elements of humor, improvisation, and interactive components, aim to offer new perspectives to the audience while enriching the theater experience.
PLAYS TO BE PERFORMED
The plays that will take the stage at the ENKA Auditorium between February 12 and May 7 include 39 and a Half Steps (TiyatroAdam), The Reunification of the Two Koreas (Moda Sahnesi), Monster (İki Tiyatro), Everyone Looks Like My Husband (Kadıköy Emek Sahnesi), Bâb (Museum of Monologues), Who Is This Me? (Tiyatro İN), The Other (Luz Yapım), Girls and Boys (Oyun Atölyesi) and The Clappers (TiyatrOPS).
CONCERTS ANNOUNCED
ENKA Sanat is preparing to host two concerts by Borusan Quartet, one of our country's most important chamber music ensembles, which has delivered proud performances in distinguished festivals and halls in Turkey and around the world for years.
In the first concert on February 20, they will appear before classical music lovers with a repertoire consisting of masterpieces by composers who wrote their names in golden letters in music history from the Classical to the Romantic period, starting with Haydn and Mozart and extending to Beethoven and Schubert, and in the second concert on May 7, with a repertoire consisting of works by two great composers from Germany, Robert Schumann and Felix Mendelssohn.
The ENKA Stage Gala Concert, which ENKA Sanat has been continuing for four years to support promising young talents, will take place on March 23 at 18.00. The project, with Cihat Aşkın as Artistic Director, brings new young talents determined by the advisory board to the stage again this year.
The entire Gala Concert will be released on ENKA Sanat's YouTube channel on April 22.
