Speaking about fame, Ünsal said, "Fame is a shirt of fire. When I think about the paths I have taken, I am surprised at how I managed to make it here safely without losing my mind. I am a child of an average Turkish family. My father suffered a lot because of my fame.
I couldn't say, 'I am doing my job with integrity.' The residue of everything thrown at me remained," she stated.
Stating, "I bought my first house at 17," Ünsal said the following:

How I saved money; I wore my friends' clothes until they were worn out. I took out a bank loan and bought a tiny 30-square-meter house."
