Pucca responds to Tuba Ünsal, who claimed she 'ruined my house': 'I will exercise my legal rights'
Tuba Ünsal supported landlord Jale Tuncer, who alleged that Pucca had not paid her rent, on her social media account. Criticizing Pucca, Ünsal said, "She was my tenant for years. She ruined my house." Pucca's response to Tuba Ünsal was swift: "In that case, you should have exercised your legal rights! Did it only just occur to you now? I will exercise my legal rights against all of you to the fullest extent."
The landlord of Selen Pınar Işık, known by the name Pucca, Jale Tuncer, had expressed her grievances on her social media account and alleged that Işık had not paid rent for 16 months.
Following Jale Tuncer's message, "No good deed goes unpunished. Pucca, who was our tenant for two and a half years, spent the first year paying rent either partially or late. We, however, did not prioritize this for a long time and started the legal process very late. She has been living in our house without paying rent for the last 16 months. The damage done to the house is just the icing on the cake," Selen Pınar Işık published a written statement on her Instagram page.
'I AM TRYING TO OVERCOME THESE'
Pucca said, "Those who follow me already know the difficult processes I have been through. I do not want to hide behind the economic difficulties I have experienced myself due to the unfortunate accident my son had, but they were difficult days. I am trying to overcome these on my own, even if I stumble. When the process moved to court, I saw that I was not alone and that millions of people are experiencing the same problems." She also stated that she is in the process of vacating the house.
'SHE TOOK OUT THE PUNISHMENT FOR HER TRAUMAS ON THE HOUSE'
Actress Tuba Ünsal also joined the landlord-tenant debate. Ünsal, who is Pucca's former landlord, supported Jale Tuncer on her Instagram page:
"It would be unfair if I remained silent here. I saw the news that Pucca is in a legal dispute with her landlord; she hasn't paid rent for months, and then she insulted the landlord who sued her. Pucca/Pınar was a tenant in my house for years.
Saying she ruined my house is an understatement, I think; she took out the punishment for all the traumas she experienced on the house, the situation was that bad. She didn't pay rent for months and moved out of the house without even letting me know. At the time, I stayed silent because I didn't want this issue to be discussed, much like a woman who has been harassed feeling guilty herself... I wanted to write this today when I saw the news..."
'I WILL GET THROUGH THESE DAYS TOO'
Responding to Tuba Ünsal, Pucca used the following expressions:
"Aaaaa! Enough, you've really piled on! I'll skip the lie that I lived there for years; I actually got pregnant in that house and moved out in the last 3 months of it. My pregnancy isn't going to last for years, I suppose. We told her the date we would move out, and she asked us to stay until the end of the contract. It was counted towards the deposit. The reason we left was that the house was full of damp, and I had no bone left that didn't ache. Everyone was also complaining about our dogs. And why only me?
Excuse me, but did I live there alone? Oh, how nice; when you were inviting me to your parties and asking for posts, this issue didn't exist, but now it has occurred to you? I have a thousand problems on my mind; there is a reason for my silence, of course... You will learn that when the day comes, but you are pushing it now. I will get through these days too, but rest assured.
Also, if you were so distressed, you should have exercised your legal rights; if you have such a claim, you can still use it, because I will exercise my legal rights against all of you to the fullest extent, rest assured!"
