UK in turmoil over this claim: 'This person is not Kate Middleton, it's her body double'
The British royal family has once again failed to quell speculation regarding the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, who underwent surgery. This time, the authenticity of the footage released of Middleton shopping with her husband, Prince William, is being questioned.

The debate surrounding the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, who underwent abdominal surgery on January 17, subsequently disappeared from public view, and had new footage released last night, shows no signs of ending.
The AFP agency has added a "Digitally altered" note to another photograph, which was previously seen featuring Queen Elizabeth of England and was claimed to have been taken by Middleton.
The footage of Middleton taken yesterday while shopping with her husband and heir to the British throne, Prince William, failed to satisfy social media users.
SPARKED DEBATE
The whereabouts of Kate Middleton, presented as the public relations face of the British royal family, following her surgery had sparked great curiosity worldwide, leading to numerous speculations.
Following the peak of the discussions and even claims that she had died, it was reported that Middleton was seen shopping at a farm shop with Prince William over the weekend.
However, the fact that the report by The Sun newspaper was not accompanied by any footage or photos had led to the credibility of the royal family being further questioned.
Following these reactions, The Sun published the footage last night, stating it was taken at the shop in question. However, this time, claims emerged on social media such as "This person doesn't look like Kate" and "The footage was created with artificial intelligence."
'FACE AND EYE STRUCTURE DO NOT MATCH' CLAIM
Many people argued that the woman seen walking energetically and smiling next to Prince William in the footage was not actually Kate Middleton.
It was claimed that the woman in the blurry footage had a different gait, and that her face and eye structure, cheekbones, and smile were not the same as Middleton's.
Some also pointed out that no one around was turning to look at Middleton, suggesting that the footage was AI-generated.
The Sun newspaper, however, wrote that the footage was taken on Saturday afternoon with an iPhone 12 Pro by a person who saw the couple at the shop near their home in Windsor.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In a statement made by Kensington Palace on January 17, it was announced that Kate Middleton, who was last seen at Christmas, had undergone planned abdominal surgery.
It was reported that the Princess of Wales, who stayed in the hospital for about two weeks, would not appear in public until after Easter.
However, the disappearance of the princess, known as the public relations face of the Royal family, without providing details in this manner, led to claims that she was having marital problems with her husband, experiencing psychological issues, or was even in a coma.
Prince William's last-minute decision not to attend a memorial service for his godfather, King Constantine of Greece, at the end of February also fueled the rumors.
