İmamoğlu's Üsküdar jab at Erdoğan: 'He will be very happy too'

IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu made statements at the "Yuvamız İstanbul Children's Activity Center."

'99.9 PERCENT OF EMPLOYEES ARE WOMEN'

Speaking about Istanbul's nursery promises, İmamoğlu said, "The number of our completed and operational nurseries will reach 100. As of now, it is around 75-76. Others are in the preparation stage. Even with the current number, this place has nearly 1,300 employees. In our nursery, our educators, who number over 800, are 99.9 percent women," he said.

STUDENT DORMITORIES

Drawing attention to the dormitory issue, İmamoğlu stated the following:

"We are building a dormitory with 350 beds in Şişli. Although we have the chance to create commercial space, this is a matter of preference; we are opening dormitories for our youth. We have a capacity of 5,200 beds, and we will increase this to 6,000. We intended to provide scholarships to 75,000 students, and we are providing them to 100,000. We allocated 750 million liras from the budget, and we are providing this. The nursery is the part that makes us the happiest."

'THERE WILL BE A HAPPY ÜSKÜDAR RESIDENT'

When asked about the situation in Üsküdar during the local elections and reminded that Kısıklı is the neighborhood of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, İmamoğlu said:

"I am sure he will be very happy too on March 31st under the leadership of Sinem Hanım. There will be a happy Üsküdar resident, just as all Üsküdar residents will be happy. Our main goal is not to leave even one person behind. In this context, we are preparing him for a March 31st election where the President will also be happy. Of course, our happiness will not be on election night, but through 5 years of work. Just like the service satisfaction of our citizens in Istanbul right now.

Üsküdar is very valuable to all of us. Üsküdar is where I am from as an Istanbullite. My wife is from Üsküdar, so with Sinem Hanım, we will strive to make an election won by the nation a reality by building a great alliance that listens to everyone living in Üsküdar in an inclusive cooperation."

SİNEM DEDETAŞ: 'WE ARE VERY LUCKY'

Üsküdar Mayoral Candidate Sinem Dedetaş said the following regarding the matter:

"We are very lucky to have a leader who knows how to serve so well. As our Mayor said, I hope it will be our fortune to perform a proper, inclusive, and service-oriented duty."
