İmamoğlu trial adjourned

The trial of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, which was opened over allegations of 'rigging a tender' during his tenure as the Mayor of Beylikdüzü, continued today.

While one of the defendants tried without arrest, Hasan Çetin, was present at the hearing held at the Büyükçekmece Courthouse, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın, CHP Head of Legal Affairs Gül Çiftçi, CHP Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik, and numerous CHP mayors were also present in the courtroom to show their support.

TRIAL ADJOURNED

The trial was adjourned until November 20 on the grounds that the prosecutor's opinion was not yet ready.
