Muharrem İnce reacts to the euthanasia of stray dogs: 'Dogs should be collected from the streets and neutered'

Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce, regarding stray dogs, in the Animal Protection Law made statements on his X account following the introduction of the draft legal regulation to the Turkish Grand National Assembly.  President Erdoğan's remarks regarding the issue of stray dogs not being solvable through neutering were addressed in his statement.

İnce used the following expressions in his post:

"Dogs should be collected from the streets and neutered. Those among them that have the potential to be adopted should be adopted. Some should be placed in military areas as security elements and fed with mess hall leftovers. Municipalities and law enforcement should work together and find a solution to this issue as soon as possible through a mobilization effort. The budgets of municipalities that fail to fulfill their responsibilities should be cut, or deterrent sanctions should be considered for them. No living creature should be intentionally killed."
