İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements at the Koyulhisar Culture and Arts Festival. Drawing attention to the problems the country and the region are facing, Dervişoğlu emphasized that these difficulties can only be overcome through unity of heart, cooperation, and collaboration.

'I DID NOT COME HERE TO ENGAGE IN POLITICS'

In his speech at the festival, Dervişoğlu said, "I did not come here to engage in politics. However, we know that our country is going through difficult days both internally and in its region. To overcome these difficulties, we must come together as a nation, and as politicians, we must set aside polarization and learn to embrace one another."

Commenting on the wars in the region, operations, and the oppression of oppressed peoples, Dervişoğlu stated that Turkey has always stood by the oppressed. "Wherever there is an oppressed person, the Republic of Turkey and the great Turkish nation will stand by them. Friend and foe must know this," he said.

I PLACED THE EAST TURKESTAN FLAG

Recalling the speech made by Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), Dervişoğlu said, "Our kinsmen in near and distant geographies are suffering from persecution. When Mahmud Abbas came to the TBMM, I placed the blue flag of East Turkestan in front of the seat where I was sitting. Defending the rights of our kinsmen in East Turkestan should be our common value."

İYİ Party leader Dervişoğlu thanked those who contributed to the organization of the festival and the citizens who attended, and called on all political parties for a national stance and solidarity.
