Müsavat Dervişoğlu reacts sharply to national mourning decision

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu reacted to the one-day national mourning decision declared by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniye.

In a statement on his social media account, Dervişoğlu said, "The state has its traditions. National mourning cannot be declared according to the President's whims and authority. This is an imposition on the Turkish nation and is unacceptable. I strongly reject the dilution of important concepts by the state."
