New İYİ Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu visits Anıtkabir

Following his handover of duties from former leader Meral Akşener, İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu visited Anıtkabir. In the Anıtkabir Special Book, Dervişoğlu wrote: "Inspired by your words that 'independence, future, and freedom are all established through justice,' we, as the İYİ Party, are marching toward the goal of rebuilding, 100 years later, that solid bridge you constructed with the mortar of justice between the state and the nation."

Müsavat Dervişoğlu and his delegation walked along the Lion Road to reach Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's mausoleum.

After Dervişoğlu laid a wreath at Atatürk's mausoleum, a moment of silence was observed. Dervişoğlu then proceeded to the Misak-ı Milli Tower and signed the Anıtkabir Special Book.

'We will continue our struggle to show that there is justice in the face of injustice'

Dervişoğlu wrote the following in the book:

"Dear Atatürk, we stand proudly in your presence as devoted soldiers of a sacred cause, aiming for the unity of the Turkish nation, following the great vision and mission you set forth for the Republic of Turkey.

We are aware of the great responsibility placed upon our shoulders by the founding philosophy, principles, and values of our republic, which has reached its 100th year. We are conscious of the precious duty that falls upon us for the happiness, prosperity, and peace of our beloved nation.

We will continue the great and meaningful struggle we have waged under the roof of the İYİ Party for 6 and a half years, without tiring for a single moment, to show that there is justice in the face of injustice, to establish the rule of law, to bring a smile to our nation's face, and to change its fortune.

Because we know from your glorious struggle for the Turkish nation that 'Those who set out never to rest, never tire.' Those who love their country and nation more than their own soul, never tire. Those who grow by swearing an oath for freedom on the path of the homeland, never tire. We bow before your cherished memory with gratitude and respect. May your soul rest in peace."
