New statement from Ümit Özdağ: Will the IYI Party and the Victory Party form an alliance?

Özdağ paid visits in Nevşehir. While there, he gave messages regarding the local elections and said that they have not yet received a response to the call they made to the IYI Party to create a third option for those who do not want to vote for the AKP or the CHP.

Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ met with party members in Nevşehir.

Özdağ made statements to journalists at his party's promotional stand in the city, where he had arrived to conduct visits.

Noting that the local elections are an important opportunity for Turkey, Özdağ said that they have not yet received a response to their call to the IYI Party for a 'third way'.

Özdağ spoke in summary as follows:

"If you vote for the Victory Party in these elections, we will not transfer a single penny from our municipalities' resources to refugees and illegal migrants. We will not allow refugees and illegal migrants to open shops. We will protect Turkish tradesmen from the spread of refugees.

We will close all refugee shops opened without a license and will not allow 5-6 families to live in one house. We have not yet received a response to the realpolitik and well-intentioned call we made to the IYI Party to create a third option that those who do not want to vote for the AKP and CHP sides can easily vote for.

I hope that after they hold discussions within the party's authorized bodies, they will return to us with a positive answer and we will continue the negotiations."

The IYI Party had not accepted the CHP's alliance proposal and had decided to enter the elections with its own candidates.
