Prosecutor's office launches investigation into Ümit Özdağ
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ. Özdağ reacted to the decision by posting on his social media account.
Özdağ reacted to the investigation launched against him with a post on his social media account and used the following expressions.

“There are 13 million refugees and illegal migrants in Turkey. We have spent and are spending tens of billions of dollars on them. Due to Erdoğan's misguided policies, a sociological structure has formed in our country that imperialism can exploit at any moment. Migration has fueled inflation, increased the cost of living, and unemployment. Our borders have been left wide open. Our youth are in the quagmire of drugs. Many of our young people have been killed by refugees. Syrians are increasing faster than Turks. We will continue our political struggle to say these things and to send back the 13 million refugees and illegal migrants. You cannot scare me by throwing me in jail. We will resolutely continue our struggle to ensure this beautiful country does not become Lebanon or Syria.”
