According to the statement made by the company, this innovative approach aims not only to increase password security but also to make digital assets more secure by making it easier for users to remember their login information.
Many internet users struggle to remember long, complex passwords and often prefer simple ones. Emoji-based passwords offer users an approach developed to solve this problem. As part of the Unicode standard, emojis not only strengthen passwords but also make them faster and easier to remember.
EMOJI-BASED PASSWORDS MAKE PASSWORDS STRONGER USING FEWER CHARACTERS
The use of emoji-based passwords brings many advantages. Compared to traditional encryption methods, emoji-based passwords provide stronger security with fewer characters. Kaspersky experts emphasize that making cybersecurity more effective and user-friendly with emoji-based passwords is an important step toward increasing security in the digital world.
In the statement, Kaspersky Turkey General Manager İlkem Özar stated that emoji-based passwords not only increase resilience against cyber threats but also significantly improve the user experience, noting the following:
"Various emoji options create an effective barrier to prevent cyber attackers' attacks. Furthermore, users are more successful at remembering their passwords because combining a series of expressions offers a more effective memorization method than simple combinations of letters and numbers."
Özar stated that this method has the potential to be enriched by the users' imaginations.
