Apple is expected to resolve issues it has been trying to fix with interim updates in iOS 17.2. However, the upcoming version will also include some new features. One of these will be the ability to change the default notification sound. This feature, which Android users have had for many years, was not previously offered for iPhone users.
NEW CUSTOMIZATION OPTION IS COMING
As noticed in the latest beta version of iOS 17.2, the expected customization feature has drawn attention. With iOS 17.2, iPhone users will be provided with an option in the sounds and haptics settings section that will allow them to select a sound to be used for all notifications.
A section under the name 'default alerts' is expected to be added here. In addition to the new customization feature, the Wi-Fi issues that users have been experiencing with iOS 17 will also be resolved. Some reported problems, such as the phone freezing and shutting down, are also expected to be fixed with the iOS 17.2 update.
