Musk prepares to launch his AI company's first technology

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has announced that his new artificial intelligence company, xAI, will release its first technology to a select group.

In a post on the X social media platform, Musk announced that xAI would make its "first artificial intelligence" available to a select group.

Regarding the company's technology, Musk stated, "In some important respects, it is the best that currently exists."

Musk's new artificial intelligence company, xAI, was founded in July.

A statement on the company's website noted that the goal of xAI is to "understand the true nature of the universe."

The statement, which indicated that the xAI team is led by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk, noted that team members had previously worked at DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, Tesla, and the University of Toronto.

The statement further expressed that the team has contributed to some of the most widely used methods in the field of artificial intelligence, introduced analyses using innovative techniques, and led the development of some of the biggest breakthroughs in the field.
