International Data Corporation, or IDC for short, has published a new report. According to this report, global tablet sales fell by 14.2 percent compared to the same quarter last year. However, there is also an increase compared to the previous month. So, which brand became the leader in sales?
APPLE DOES NOT RELINQUISH THE LEAD IN TABLET SALES
Apple leads the list with 12.5 million units sold. Apple, which reached a 37.5 percent market share, was followed by Samsung. Samsung has an 18 percent market share with 6 million sales.
Following Samsung, Lenovo is in third place with approximately 3 million sales, and Huawei is in fourth place with 2.5 million sales.
In the published report, the Chromebook segment shrank by 20.8 percent. Here, the leadership belongs to Acer with a 28 percent share. Acer is followed by brands such as HP and Dell, respectively.
