All eyes in Fenerbahçe are on the elective ordinary congress to be held on June 8-9.

Tensions continue to rise in the election, where current president Ali Koç and former president Aziz Yıldırım will compete.

Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım made explosive allegations regarding Acun Ilıcalı, who is on Ali Koç's board of directors list.

Yıldırım claimed that Acun Ilıcalı is a follower of Adnan Oktar and that he provided passports to FETÖ members in the Dominican Republic.

Following these allegations, Acun Ilıcalı took action.

Ilıcalı filed a criminal complaint against Aziz Yıldırım with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and filed a lawsuit for 10 million TL in damages.

ILICALI HAD RESPONDED TO THE PASSPORT ALLEGATION

Acun Ilıcalı had responded to Aziz Yıldırım's claim that he provides 'passports to FETÖ members' by saying, "There are 5 days left until the election, and he is making absurd slanders. He left me alone and now turned to the president... He thought the passport incident of people in Dominica was the Dominican Republic... They aren't even the same country! A Dominican passport has no special significance."
