Emre Belözoğlu: 'I will remain at the helm of the team until the end of the season'

Following the attack by club president Faruk Koca on referee Halil Umut Meler during the MKE Ankaragücü-Çaykur Rizespor match in the 15th week of the Süper Lig, a group of yellow-and-navy fans gathered at the Beştepe Facilities to chant in support of the team and Koca.

Emre Belözoğlu went to the fans and said, "I am very saddened by the events that have taken place. As I promised you, I will remain at the helm of the team until the end of the season. We will continue our struggle" said.
