President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the discussion covered bilateral relations between Turkey and Venezuela, as well as regional and global issues.

During the call, President Erdoğan expressed his hope that the elections in Venezuela would lead to positive outcomes, stated that Turkey would continue to support the dialogue process in Venezuela, and conveyed his wishes for peace, prosperity, and well-being to the Venezuelan people.

Erdoğan also noted that he appreciated Venezuela's support for Palestine against Israeli oppression.
