Fenerbahçe makes its decision regarding Joao Pedro, who was alleged to have gone missing

Fenerbahçe has parted ways with 32-year-old striker Joao Pedro, whom it loaned to Gremio last season. 

While the contract of the player, who had 1 more year remaining with Fenerbahçe, has been terminated, the statement made by the club included the following:

"An agreement has been reached by mutual consent with Professional Football A Team player João Pedro, and his contract has been terminated. We wish the player success in his career."

It had been alleged in recent days that Pedro had gone missing. Fenerbahçe officials, speaking to 12punto, had denied the claims.
