"Dear Atatürk,
Today, we commemorate with respect and gratitude your Excellency, who inspired this nation in its struggle for independence and bequeathed to us a modern Turkey, your comrades-in-arms, our martyrs who fell for our homeland, and our veterans. In line with the goals you set, we are working with all our might to reach the level of contemporary civilization and to carry our country further.
Today, here in your presence, we reiterate our determination to protect our independence, our republic, and our values.
Adopting your principle, 'I like the athlete who is intelligent, agile, and at the same time moral,' as our motto, we are determined to raise not only athletes focused on sporting success but also moral athletes.
Our greatest desire is to leave a mark on the world in a way worthy of our glorious history, especially by paving the way for our youth in football, and to demonstrate the power of the Turkish nation once again.
May your soul rest in peace."
