SUPANGLE RECIPE

  • Ingredients for Supangle / Serves 4
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of starch
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

For the topping:

  • Chocolate sauce
  • Coconut
  • Hazelnuts or pistachios (optional)

HOW TO MAKE SUPANGLE?

  • Heat the milk in a saucepan until it begins to boil.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the granulated sugar, cocoa, flour, and starch.
  • Add the prepared mixture to the boiling milk and cook, stirring constantly, until it reaches a thick consistency.
  • Add the vanilla extract and butter to the thickened mixture. Stir to ensure the butter melts.
  • Once the cooking process is complete, pour the supangle mixture into bowls or supangle cups.
  • When it reaches room temperature, cover the tops with plastic wrap and leave to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.
  • Garnish the cooled supangle with chocolate sauce.
  • Serve by sprinkling with coconut and, if desired, decorating with hazelnuts or pistachios.
  • Supangle should be thoroughly chilled before serving and topped with chocolate sauce.
