The Akbank Short Film Festival, a meeting point for cinema enthusiasts and the film industry, will take place this year from March 25 to April 4.
The special guest for the festival's 20th anniversary will be director Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
The master director, who most recently helmed the film "About Dry Grasses" (Kuru Otlar Üstüne), which won Merve Dizdar the Best Actress Award at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, will meet with young filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts at the festival.
During the event, Nuri Bilge Ceylan's first short film, "Cocoon" (Koza), will be screened, followed by a talk where he will share his experiences regarding the film and his cinematic journey.
