Israel Airports Authority spokesperson Lisa Drir told an AA reporter that El Al Airlines has begun evacuating its passenger planes from Ben Gurion Airport.

While Drir stated that the planes were being sent abroad, she did not share information regarding which countries they were being sent to.

Meanwhile, Israel announced early in the morning that it had carried out a large-scale air operation against Iran involving more than 200 fighter jets.

Following these attacks, the Israeli military announced that Iran had sent more than 100 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in response to Israel.
