American airline United Airlines suspends Tel Aviv flights
US airline United Airlines has announced that it has suspended its flights to Israel's capital, Tel Aviv, today due to the "security situation in the region."

United Airlines stated in a statement to an AA reporter that flights to Tel Aviv on Monday and to Amman on Tuesday have been suspended.
The statement noted that the situation in the region is being closely monitored and that flights will return to normal once it is ensured that they are safe for both passengers and crew.
The statement also indicated that the crew currently stationed in the region has been relocated to another location until full security is ensured.
FLIGHTS ARE BEING UPDATED
While discussions continue regarding whether Israel will launch a counter-attack against Iran, it is reported that many airline companies are monitoring the situation in the region on a daily basis and updating their flights accordingly.
Prior to the attacks launched by Iran against Israel on April 13, many international airline companies around the world had announced that they were suspending their weekend flights to Israel.
