Regarding the drone attack on the US military base on the Jordan-Syria border and the death of 3 US soldiers, Biden stated, "We had a tough day in the Middle East last night."

"WE WILL RESPOND"

Biden said, "We lost three brave souls" in the attack, and after a brief silence, added, "We will respond."

US President Joe Biden had first announced in a written statement from the White House today that 3 US soldiers had lost their lives in an attack carried out with a one-way drone on a US military base on the Jordan-Syria border.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) also reported that 25 people were injured in the attack.

The Jordanian government, meanwhile, announced that the attack on US forces did not take place on its territory, but at the al-Tanf base on the Syrian border.
