Ministry of Interior Spokesperson Iyad al-Bozom issued a written statement today as the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League began in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
In his statement, Bozom said, "We call on the leaders of the Arab and Islamic world to take immediate action before it is too late to adopt practical measures that will exert pressure on the occupying Israel and the US administration to stop the relentless attacks on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip."
Calling on leaders to move beyond defining the reality of the catastrophe and to transition to a state of decision-making, Bozom stated that the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are being subjected to genocide before the eyes of an unjust world.
As Israel's attacks on Gaza enter their 36th day, the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League is being held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
