Evacuations begin: Rafah Border Crossing opened for the wounded and foreigners

The Rafah Border Crossing between Gaza and Egypt has opened for the first time since the start of the Israel-Hamas war.
The Rafah Border Crossing was opened on a limited basis as part of an agreement reached with the mediation of Qatar and the coordination of the United States. Under the agreement, it was stated that foreign passport holders and the critically wounded would be able to cross the border into Egypt.
Following this development, ambulances entered Gaza from Egypt to transport the wounded.
Critically wounded Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip, where Israel continues its relentless attacks, have begun to be transferred to hospitals in Egypt. According to Reuters, a total of 81 wounded individuals, 19 of whom were in life-threatening condition, were transferred to Egypt in the first phase.
LATEST SITUATION IN ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON GAZA
Hamas's armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack on the morning of October 7, citing the need to respond to Israel's continuous violations against Palestinians and their sacred values, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque, while the Israeli army launched an intense aerial bombardment on the Gaza Strip.
Israeli officials announced that more than 1,400 Israelis, including 317 soldiers, were killed and 5,132 people were injured in the attacks from Gaza.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari noted that there are 240 Israeli hostages in the hands of the Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 8,525 Palestinians, including 3,542 children and 2,187 women, have been killed and 21,643 people have been injured in Israeli attacks.
In the occupied West Bank, 126 Palestinians have been killed and approximately 2,000 Palestinians have been injured in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers.
The Israeli army began expanding its limited ground attacks into Gaza on October 26 and further increased the intensity of its aerial bombardment.
Israel, which has not refrained from striking health centers in Gaza where thousands of wounded and civilians are located, has also targeted Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical facility in the region.
