Interim government takes office in Bulgaria
The interim government formed by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev in Bulgaria has officially taken office following a swearing-in ceremony.

The Bulgarian government has officially begun its duties following a swearing-in ceremony held in Parliament.
An extraordinary session was held in parliament for the swearing-in ceremony of the members of the interim government formed by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.
The members of the government, consisting of one deputy prime minister and 19 ministers, took their oaths one by one.
The main task of the government will be the organization of the Bulgarian National Assembly early elections and the European Parliament (EP) elections, which will be held simultaneously on June 9.
PROTEST DURING EU ANTHEM
Following the swearing-in ceremony, which was also attended by President Rumen Radev, the national anthem of Bulgaria and the anthem of the European Union (EU) were played.
In parliament, deputies from the pro-Russia and anti-NATO and anti-EU "Vazrazhdane" (Revival Party) remained seated in their chairs in protest during the EU anthem.
Due to the ongoing political instability in the country, Prime Minister Glavchev's government will be the 7th government to take office in Bulgaria in the last three years.
