‘Overtime’ in Israel-Palestine crisis: US announces it is ‘working to verify’
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that they are working "overtime" to verify information regarding Americans who are missing or have lost their lives due to the attacks on Israel by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a statement regarding the Israel-Palestine crisis. In his statement, Blinken said, "We have reports of several Americans killed. We are working overtime to verify that. There are also reports of missing Americans, and we are working to verify those as well."
Blinken conveyed that the instruction from US President Joe Biden is "to ensure that we are providing Israel with everything it needs to deal with the attacks coming from Hamas right now."
Noting that they are reviewing Israel's additional requests, Blinken said, "I think you will hear more about that later today."
BIDEN HAD ANNOUNCED HIS SUPPORT
Stating yesterday that their support for Israel to defend itself will continue, Biden had used the expression, "My administration's support for Israel is rock solid and unwavering."
