U.S. President Donald Trump made significant statements via social media while en route to the NATO Leaders' Summit to be held in The Hague, Netherlands. Trump expressed that following the ceasefire reached between Iran and Israel, China could continue to purchase oil from Iran.
In his post, Trump stated the following: "China can now continue to buy oil from Iran. Hopefully, they will also buy plenty from the U.S. It was a great honor for me to make this happen."
Stating that the upcoming NATO Leaders' Summit would be calmer following the establishment of the ceasefire, Trump said, "I look forward to seeing all my good European friends and others."
