Israel is also bombing city centers where it had asked Palestinians to gather for shelter after calling on them to "leave the area."

It is observed that the Israeli army, which has placed Gaza under a total blockade, is targeting the Gaza city center and its shelters, as well as Rafah and Khan Yunis, with intense attacks, despite having called on the public to gather there.

CIVILIANS TARGETED

Following the start of the intense bombardment of Gaza, some civilians left their homes thinking they would be protected from the attacks and headed to the 4 points announced by the Israeli army. However, looking at the attacks carried out by the Israeli army over the last two days, it is understood that the places designated as assembly areas in the Gaza Strip have also been struck.

SPOKESPERSON CALLED FOR ASSEMBLY, ISRAELI ARMY STRUCK

Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee called on the public to leave their residential areas on the X social media platform on October 8, stating that Hamas's activities in residential areas were putting the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in a difficult position.

In his statement, Adraee announced these regions as Gaza city center, shelters in central Gaza, Khan Yunis city center, and shelters in the Rafah city center.

Despite this, the Israeli army bombed these 4 regions where the points it called on Palestinians to gather are located. In its latest attacks, Israel targeted the Jabalia and Al-Shati refugee camps, the Sheikh Radwan and Al-Rimal neighborhoods, as well as the Karameh area in the Gaza city center.

Striking the surroundings of Rafah, the only gate of the Gaza Strip opening to the world, to prevent international aid from reaching it, the Israeli army also bombed Khan Yunis and the Nuseirat Refugee Camp. The Gaza Strip, one of the most densely populated regions in the world, houses 2.3 million Palestinians in an area of approximately 360 square kilometers.
