Minister Tunç announces: Confessor Nevzat B. arrested

The investigation into the death of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found in a stream near her home 19 days after she went missing in Diyarbakır, continues.

The police procedures for the suspect who turned confessor regarding the death of 8-year-old Narin Güran have been completed.

TRANSFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE

Nevzat B., who made a confession as part of the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, had been taken into custody.

The confessor N.B. was transferred to the prosecutor's office following his procedures at the gendarmerie.

Having completed his procedures, the "confessor" was referred to the judgeship with a request for arrest.

MINISTER TUNÇ: NEVZAT B. HAS BEEN ARRESTED

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç shared the news that Nevzat B. had been arrested in a statement on his social media account. Tunç used the following expressions:

"Nevzat B., one of the suspects taken into custody as part of the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the death of our 8-year-old child Narin Güran, has been arrested by the Duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace to which he was brought.

Procedures regarding the other suspects in custody are ongoing.

The investigation is being carried out meticulously.

Whoever is responsible for the death of our daughter Narin will be brought to justice and will receive the punishment they deserve."
