In the auction, a 2-year (707-day) fixed-coupon government bond with a 6.3 percent coupon payment every 6 months was reissued. The simple interest rate in the auction was 30.67 percent, and the compound interest rate was 33.03 percent.
105 MILLION LIRA BID
In the auction where the nominal bid reached 3 billion 843 million lira, the nominal sale was 1 billion 784 million lira, and the net sale was 1 billion 348.9 million lira.
In the auction where the entire 400 million lira bid from the public sector was met, a bid of 105 million lira was received from market makers, and 70 million lira was sold to this segment.
Thus, the Treasury borrowed a total of 1 billion 818.9 million lira in the auction.
