Heavy rainfall warning from the Meteorological Service

According to the latest forecasts by the General Directorate of Meteorology; the northern, inner, and western parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the inner parts of the Western Mediterranean, the Central and Eastern Mediterranean, the northeastern part of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea region, and the surroundings of Sakarya, Bilecik, Denizli, Afyonkarahisar, Konya, and Niğde, as well as the inner parts of Muğla and the northern and eastern parts of Ankara, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea and the surroundings of Ordu.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south and west in the southern parts, light to occasionally moderate.

As precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea and around Ordu, it is necessary to be cautious and take precautions against negative conditions such as flash floods, inundations, lightning, local hail, and strong winds during precipitation.
