Red slipper detail in Narin murder: How they misled the Gendarmerie!

New information has come to light regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing after leaving a Quran course on August 21 in Tavşantepe Village, located in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, and whose body was found on September 8 inside a tied sack in a stream near the village.

According to a report by Özgür Cebe from Sözcü, it appears that during the days Narin was missing, an attempt was made to mislead the gendarmerie using a red slipper found inside a vehicle belonging to her father, Arif Güran.

According to eyewitnesses and statements given to the gendarmerie, Narin's cousin, Osman Güran, confessed that while participating in search operations with gendarmerie teams, he found a red slipper in a vehicle driven by his cousin, Muhammet Kaya, and that they deliberately left it in the vehicle, thinking it might belong to Narin.

In his statement, Osman Güran said, "I saw a red slipper on the floor mat of the vehicle. I asked Muhammet, and he said he found it on the road and thought it might belong to Narin. He sent a photo to Narin's brother, and her brother Baran stated that the slipper belonged to Narin. We then handed the slipper over to the gendarmerie."

Was Evidence Used to Create Confusion?

According to the footage that has emerged, it is alleged that the slipper was deliberately placed inside the vehicle to distract the gendarmerie.

It is claimed that by stating the slipper was found in an area outside the village, the intention was to direct search operations toward areas where Syrian refugees were located.

However, Narin's red slippers were found inside the sack where her body was discovered on September 8.

Special Investigation in the Dark of Night

The moments when gendarmerie teams conducted a special investigation on the vehicle belonging to her father, Arif Güran, due to this evidence that created confusion, were captured on camera.

During the examinations conducted in the dark of night using special laser lights, every corner of the vehicle—the floor, ceiling components, seat upholstery, and dashboard area—was scanned in detail.

The investigation, which began with the announcement, "Crime scene investigation activity conducted on vehicle with license plate 21 ADT 429 using a wavelength light source," involved a search for DNA and biological evidence in the vehicle.

This meticulous investigation by the crime scene investigation teams has raised new questions regarding the murder of Narin Güran, while allegations of an attempt to divert the gendarmerie's attention have gained weight.
