Israel strikes hospital. Gazan journalist describes the atrocity as a "massacre"
Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip have targeted a hospital in the region. The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that at least 500 people lost their lives in the attack carried out by Israel on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.
As the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues with great intensity, Israel's attacks targeting civilians are drawing backlash.
Most recently, Israel launched an attack on a hospital in Gaza where mostly women and children were sheltering. Gazan journalist Noor Harazeen, who joined a live broadcast, described how terrifying the attack was as follows:

We always say that a catastrophe is taking place in this region, and then something even worse happens. The event that just occurred at the hospital is a mass slaughter... Families and children were trying to find shelter in that hospital.
We were shocked when we learned that Israel had targeted the hospital; we did not expect such a thing. We learned a short while ago that a large number of people have died.
We have not been given an exact figure, but we estimate that there were anywhere from hundreds to a thousand people in the hospital that was attacked.
The hospital, which housed nearly a thousand people, was occupied primarily by women and children.
