First exhibition at the Çubuklu Silos restored by İBB Heritage: 'Reconstructing Consciousness'

The restoration of the Çubuklu Silos in Beykoz has been completed by İBB Heritage, transforming the site into an arts center.

The first exhibition of the digital arts museum established at the Çubuklu Silos, titled 'Reconstructing Consciousness: What is Reality?', has opened to visitors.

The oil tanks, which were established in the 1930s in the Çubuklu district of Beykoz and used for maritime oil transport, were restored by İBB Heritage teams and converted into an arts center.

Having stood idle for many years, the Çubuklu Silos were repurposed and opened their doors to Istanbul residents on March 10, featuring areas such as a digital arts, nature and science museum, library, workshops, stage, and a children's and arts center.

The first exhibition of the Digital Arts Museum opened at the Çubuklu Silos has been announced.

The Çubuklu Silos are opening to visitors with the Ars Electronica exhibition, which has been tracking the traces of the digital revolution since 1979 and bringing together artists, art technologists, and scientists from all over the world.
