Pera Museum to bring Resonance to art lovers
As part of the exhibition 'From the Spot: A History of Panoramic Views of Istanbul,' Pera Museum is hosting Resonance, one of the representatives of polyphonic music. In the concert, works by composers from different centuries who established a connection with Istanbul will be performed by the Resonance choir.

The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation's two institutions, Pera Museum and the Istanbul Research Institute, invite art lovers to a polyphonic musical experience as part of the exhibition 'From the Spot: A History of Panoramic Views of Istanbul,' which aims to evaluate the history of Istanbul's representation through panoramic paintings and photographs from new perspectives.
Approaching the city's cultural and artistic history through a musical window with the theme 'City of Istanbul,' Resonance will bring to the stage the Kyrie Eleison prayers that have echoed in Istanbul for centuries, poems by Nedim who said, "This city of Istanbul is priceless," and works by important contemporary composers Hasan Uçarsu and Volkan Akkoç in the concert they will give within the scope of the exhibition.
The choral concert titled "This City of Istanbul is Priceless" will take place on Sunday, March 17, at 17:00 on the second floor of the museum, in the hall where the 'Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters' exhibition is located.
