Pera Museum commemorates Alâeddin Yavaşca with his compositions

The Pera Museum Turkish Music Concerts continue with the 'Alâeddin Yavaşca on the 98th Anniversary of His Birth' concert, organized in memory of Alâeddin Yavaşca. Guest soloists Güzin Değişmez and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adnan Çoban will perform the works of the famous composer at the concert to be held at the Pera Museum Auditorium on February 25.

Pera Museum commemorates Alâeddin Yavaşca with his compositions

A concert will be held at the Pera Museum in honor of the memory of the doyen of Classical Turkish Music, State Artist Prof. Dr. Alâeddin Yavaşca.

The Pera Museum Turkish Music Concerts also include presentations and discussions regarding the historical, cultural, traditional, sociological, anthropological, philosophical, and literary aspects of Turkish music.

Osman Nuri Özpekel will host the concert, where today's master performers and instrumentalists will perform selected works by great composers.

Alâeddin Yavaşca passed away on December 23, 2021.
