Pera Museum announces: The background of the 'Right on the Spot' exhibition will be discussed
As part of the 'Right on the Spot' exhibition, the Pera Museum will host a guided exhibition tour on January 23 and a panel titled 'Right on the Spot: A Curatorial History of Istanbul,' which focuses on the background of the exhibition, on January 24.
Curated by Çiğdem Kafescioğlu, K. Mehmet Kentel, and M. Baha Tanman, the 'Right on the Spot' exhibition aims to evaluate the history of Istanbul's representation through panoramic paintings and photographs from new perspectives.
In the exhibition tour organized within the scope of 'Right on the Spot,' which will take place on Tuesday, January 23 at 19:00 with the narration of K. Mehmet Kentel, participants will have the opportunity to view a high-quality selection of works by artists who looked at Istanbul panoramically, such as Barker, Gudenus, Schranz, Melling, Dunn, and Robertson.
