Allegation that Yusuf Yerkel, who became infamous during the Soma disaster, has started a job at the TFF

It has been alleged that Yusuf Yerkel, the former advisor to the prime minister who was etched into memory for kicking a relative of a miner during the disaster that occurred in the Soma district of Manisa in May 2014, in which 301 miners lost their lives, has started working as a coordinator at the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).

According to a report by Oda TV, Yerkel began his duties at the TFF as of September 1. Yerkel, who was previously appointed as the Frankfurt Commercial Attaché, resigned from that position to move to his new role at the TFF.

There has been no official statement from the TFF regarding Yerkel yet.
