Stating that Turkey has made great progress in defense and the economy over the last 22 years, Erdoğan said, "Turkey is by no means the Turkey of 22 years ago. We have removed many obstacles that could have stood between you and your dreams. Look at where we started and where we are now..."
IS TURKEY ISRAEL'S TARGET?
In his speech, Erdoğan reiterated his warning that Israel's attacks on Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria carry the risk of a regional war and that Turkey could be the next target.
Stating that "Israel clearly reveals its intentions with every map it shares," Erdoğan drew attention to the Promised Land project. Erdoğan said, "They are practically challenging Turkey from 33 kilometers away. Israel is building a plan in the region that will not be limited to just Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon."
EMPHASIS ON CYBER SECURITY
Emphasizing that they are working to minimize foreign dependency in the defense industry, Erdoğan stated that they are increasing Turkey's resilience against state-sponsored cyber attacks and digital terror acts. Erdoğan said, "We are trying to minimize foreign dependency in the field of defense industry. We are strengthening our resistance against state-sponsored cyber attacks and digital terror acts."
